Your Stay

All hospital rooms are well designed for a comfortable stay. FILOKTITIS has, among other things, areas for overnight stay for patients, physical therapy rooms, therapeutic pools, departments of occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychology, clinical dietetics, an internal kitchen for the preparation of meals, a reception department.

All rooms include: Internet, telephone, TV, comfortable standard bathroom (with shower), air conditioning cooling / heating, luggage closet, safe, etc.

Also, FILOKTITIS has: outdoor and underground parking and cafeteria.

What is the required length of stay and hospitalization?

Hospitalization length is determined by your condition and its severity as well as the patient's clinical picture.

What should I do with any medications I may have received up to today?

When you are admitted to the Nursing Unit and specifically when your medical history will be taken, you should inform your doctor or nurse about the medicines you are taking.

You are not allowed to keep any medicines on your bedside table or to take other medicines than those given according to medical orders..

How can I pay my medical expenses?

Debts for services rendered are paid fortnightly for inpatients and beforehand for outpatients.

How will I return back to my family?

Before you get discharged, a member of your close family may be trained by the Center's rehabilitation team in Activities of Daily Living.
What should I bring with me?

  • Personal hygiene and care items: toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush 
  • Men's pajamas and nightgowns or women's pajamas (4 of each) 
  • Required clothing for treatments: Sports shoes comfortable for walking shorts or sweatpants (5 of the kind), t-shirts: (5 of the kind), 
  • Underwear 
  • For hydrotherapy: swimsuit, non-slip slippers

What should I avoid bringing with me?
